Pata at Edition Dog Live 2025: Pet Care Booking Software Meets UK Pet Pros
For anyone who loves man’s best friend, there was one place to be on Sunday the 6th of July — Edition Dog Live 2025. And we’re passionate about pet care, so of course Team Pata was there!
If you missed the fun or just want to relive the amazing event while you wait excitedly for next year, grab a cuppa and read on.
Learning from pet behaviourists and dog groomers
We were spoiled with competitions, like Best Rescue with Dr Scott Miller, plus masterclasses on poodle grooming and more. There were many other pet care experts to learn from, including Catherine A'Bear, a canine behaviourist and trainer (also a Pata customer!).
It was exciting to see lots of pet-related charities participating in the event, and we felt inspired by the brilliant dog training and pet grooming academies there. This community of animal lovers and pet care providers really is phenomenal!
Seeing rare dog breeds and pet fashion trends
Every dog was the star of the show and got their photobooth moment, but we were fascinated to meet some rare breeds, such as the curly-coated retriever and Norwegian buhund.
Perhaps the rarest sight though was Barbie… well, a chihuahua dressed like her, and dogs in jean jackets. Some woofs are barking mad about fashion!

Introducing Pata’s pet care booking software
Following our pit stops for thirsty pups, visitors found their way to Pata’s stand. When we weren’t shaking paws with their adorable dogs and handing out treats, we loved chatting about how our pet care booking software could help pet groomers, dog trainers and many other pet care professionals in the UK.
We heard tales of long admin lists, hard-to-find specialists, late cancellations, and other woes. But we don’t shy away from a challenge, so we left the event excited to make pet care easy for all the incredible people we met (and you reading this too!).
